The pot luck meal for the finale is a stroke of genius. Everyone really loved contributing. I was a bit worried that without the free feed it might be a bit down for the last night, but it wasn’t at all. It was a great note to end on. There was something special about switching it from people being ‘thankful for our hospitality and invitation’, to ‘we’re doing this together’. People were telling the stories behind their dish … we’ve got a bunch of international students who really got into all this...
